Home to a newly renovated Carnegie Library, the Fergus Grand Theatre and the beautifully maintained gardens of areas such as Templin Gardens, the view of St. Andrew Street to the view of the river that flows beside it is inherent in the character of the town. On some summer afternoons, you can hear bagpipes playing along the walking bridge that connects the main street to the historic Fergus Marketplace.

Proudly embracing it’s Scottish roots and the Canadian history that abounds here, Fergus is home to the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games, an annual tradition that draws an international crowd to three days of music, culture and sport.
